1)Unwise development is a large problem in the tundra. Even though human populations in the tundra are still low, development can have a devastating effect on the environment. Buildings and roads put heat and pressure on the permafrost, causing it to melt. Not only do the buildings sag, but the fragile tundra soil composition is now ruined. Plants are also damaged from buildings. Tundra plants are very fragile and sometimes even stepping on them can kill a population for many decades. Without plant cover, the tundra's soil just washes away. Without plant life or soil the tundra's land cannot support life. 2)The problems in the Tundra biome that need to be addressed to humans, are the fact that people have been over hunting, and destroying the enviornment which leads to global warming. This problem causes animals to become endangered and affects the food chain tremendously. Pollution, the other problem this biome is facing, losses habitats for endangered animal and such. 3)There are a few solutions to these problems. One way that people can help keep more animals alive is to make laws about hunting the animals in the tundra. A few groups have been trying to enforce this law and pass it through the government, to save the animals of the tundra. There is also ways to help stop global warming. Groups of people have been trying to stop air and water polution. One way that people have tryed to help is by funding. They have been trying to get the money to clean up the areas that are poluting. Those are some solutions to problems in the tundra.
